After going to Istanbul for City Sightseeing, get lost in Roman and Greek ruins for three days, one day in Cotton castle, it seems logical to continue our trip further south to the Turkey's beautiful south coastal line. So we went to Fethiye. There are actually many cities with pretty coastal area overlooking the Mediterranean Sea such as Marmaris, Kas, Oludeniz, or even Antalya. We picked Fethiye because it close to Oludeniz and Butterfly Valley, and not that touristy.
That day, we initially plan to do some microlight in Oludeniz and mud baths, but somehow the jeep safari worn us out and we just wanted to stayed exploring, but in a laid back kind of way. So my friend Amelia did some research of nearby attraction worth exploring and Kayakoy came to her mind. Kayakoy is about 30 minutes drive from Fethiye, and there are regular public transport to Kayakoy, and there we were. Following are some pictures of Kayakoy.
I remember that day as the one of the enjoyable day ever in Turkey if not in my list of travel days. When i booked a Jeep Safari in Alaturka Turkey Tour, i didn't expect such an adventurous safari, instead i imagine a laid back, a bit of a fun jeep cruise from one place to another. But it turned out totally the opposite.
