London’s temperature in may varies from 10 to 20 degree Celcius and when you’re lucky, you can meet Mr. Sunshine peeking over the clouds over the City. On that day, our tour was quite packed and spread around London. The plan was to spend Day-1 on nearby areas in Central London, and spend the second day strolling places outskirt London. On that second day, we went to Greenwich Observatory (about 1 hour trip from our YHA London Central, our acommodation). And then from Greenwich Observatory we went to Greenwich Pier to embark on Thames River Boat Cruise and stopped by near the Tower of London. That made our next destination was Tower of London. We continued strolling to Tower Bridge, The Shard and covered the highlights around the complex before heading north to Warner Bros Studio for Harry Potter Studio Tour (about 1,5 hours from Tower Bridge).
There’s nothing better than getting lost in London City. As I previously mentioned in my other post, London is my all-time-favorite City to take a stroll. All royal buildings, sophisticated and intricate building ornaments, modern and glassy buildings collaborate in making the city vibrant. The uproar in the pedestrian or in underground seems to comfort me.
I haven’t been in many cities around the world, but among some of the major cities I’ve ever visited, London is my most favorite city to stroll around and to be alive (especially when the sun is up!). London is vibrant, dynamic, diverse in atmosphere, and of course spectacularly beautiful. Be it on a subway or on the main street, you can feel the vibrant energy and the electric that surge you alive. You can have green beauty and the silent solitude warm you in the morning at Hyde Park, and being cheered and lifted up by the crowd passerby on the same place in the afternoon. You can feel being zipped up to 17th or 19th century in the morning at Westminster abbey, and back to 21st century in the afternoon walking around The Shard. It’s everlasting, and it’s refreshing. I’ve been there twice, and I still want more and more.
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
